How do I add a page from Safari?
Install the PageCrawl app for iPhone and iPad, sign in, and share a webpage from Safari to PageCrawl. The app fills in the address so you can choose what to track and tap Start monitoring. The native app includes sharing; you do not need an iOS Shortcut for this flow.
- Install PageCrawl from the App Store and sign in.
- Open the page you want to monitor in Safari.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose PageCrawl from the apps in the share sheet. Check More if it is not visible.
- Choose an option under What to track, review the check frequency, and tap Start monitoring.
You can also paste a page address directly in the app. Sharing sends the address; it does not sign PageCrawl into a website you are logged into in Safari. Advanced monitoring setup remains available on the web.
How do I receive alerts on my iPhone or iPad?
Open Settings in the PageCrawl app, find Alerts, and tap Turn on alerts. Allow notifications, then tap Send a test notification. Alerts arrive when a scheduled check detects a change that matches your rules. See phone and desktop alerts for setup and troubleshooting.
Do I need the older Safari Shortcut?
No. The native PageCrawl app replaces the earlier Shortcut setup. Install the app, sign in, and choose PageCrawl from Safari's share sheet. Your existing monitors remain in your account, so switching to the app does not require adding them again.
What if I use Android?
Install the PageCrawl Android app and share the page to PageCrawl from your browser. The Android sharing guide covers the steps. Both native apps use the same PageCrawl account and workspaces as the web app.
