Deletion of your account will result in loss of ALL data associated with it.
To delete your account go to the Account Settings, scroll to the bottom of the page, press Permanently delete my account, and proceed with the instructions.
You can also open pagecrawl.io/app/account/delete in any browser. That page does only one thing: you confirm your password and press Permanently delete my account. If the browser is not signed in to PageCrawl, you sign in first and the page opens.
How do I delete my account from the PageCrawl mobile app?
In the PageCrawl app for Android or iPhone, open Settings, tap your account at the top, then tap Delete account. The app opens the account deletion page in your browser, where you confirm your password and tap Permanently delete my account. The same page is at pagecrawl.io/app/account/delete, so you can also delete your account from any browser without the app installed.
What if I signed up with Google or Apple and never set a password?
On the account deletion page, tap Confirm with Google or Confirm with Apple instead of typing a password. Once you confirm with the same Google or Apple account you sign in to PageCrawl with, you return to the page and Permanently delete my account works without a password. If you sign in with single sign-on, or neither option works for you, email support@pagecrawl.io from your account's email address and we will delete the account for you.
What happens to my data after I delete my account?
Your account is closed straight away: nobody can sign in to it, any subscription is cancelled, and the monitors in workspaces you own stop being checked. The phones and browsers registered for alerts, and the relays of the teams you own, are removed at the same time, and the mobile app loses access to the account. About a month later the monitors and their check history are permanently deleted. Deleted data can remain in backups until it falls outside the backup window, and it is not restored to the service. We keep a closed record of the account itself, with your name and email address, which stops the address being used to sign up again.
