# Monitor Changes in PowerPoint Presentations

PageCrawl can monitor PowerPoint presentations hosted online and notify you when their text content changes. It extracts text from the slides, compares it against the previous version, and shows exactly what was added, removed, or modified.

### Supported File Types

**pptx**

### Setup

1. Click **Track New Page**
2. Paste the direct URL to the PowerPoint file
3. PageCrawl detects the file type and shows the appropriate configuration
4. Choose your check frequency and notification preferences
5. Save

### Password-Protected Files

PowerPoint files behind login authentication are supported. Configure an [authentication setup](/help/features/article/can-i-track-password-protected-websites.md) first, then select it when adding the file.
